Rate minus GS discount for 4 nights $180. Very nice, new phase of campground. True resort. Would be great for rallies. Still under development, but pools, bath houses, spa, W/D. RV service center coming. Well lit, full hook-ups with cable. Long, wide site pads. No patio area but understand coming. Callaway Gardens, FDR White House, Warm Springs here. About 30 minutes from Columbus/Ft Benning GA.

We needed a night stop-over for our trip from Raleigh NC to Pine Mountain GA. Easy exit 17 off 85/26, full hook-ups and nice sized site. Stayed on way back too. Served our purpose. Met MH retired couple from Seattle visiting g'children and also Canada, use it as base for TT. Dog had plenty of room to be anchored out. Quiet.

Very nice and clean campground. Suited for families with young children or couples. Boring for teens. Quite rural. Bike, walking trail around lake. Huge sites, pool, exercise room, rental boats, rental golf carts. We splurged and rented site with hot tub. No cable and internet $. We had a teenager with us and had not realized exercise room, boats, everything except bikes and pedalboats were restricted to 18 and over. Saw very few teens. This should be made clear on website. He was disappointed as were we. For us this was way too restrictive. Make note if you leave early they will not credit you but will give you raincheck.

Great park for all ages. Our first stay here as we usually go to Ocean Lakes. Each site with shelter over picnic table nice. Good breakfasts at lil cg restaurant. Teens stayed happy and going whole time without leaving campground (6 nights). I like this end of Myrtle. It was very hot and no interest in cooking or grilling, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We stayed very near beach and pool, great location. I understand MBTP will not reserve a certain site but friends tell me they have never had a problem getting within section they requested. We just told them would like to be as close to pool as possible and were very happy with it. No golf carts which suited us fine. Pretty loud music at pool much of the time which didn't bother me until we changed campgrounds and did notice the difference. Only minus for me was no free internet. My teens still rate Ocean Lakes best. Fireworks at night bother neurotic dog but that's our problem.

There is very little to find wrong with this resort campground experience. Cable and free internet great. Brief disappointment this trip as we changed sites (not the problem) and way past 3PM before they moved a packed up unit to storage so we could get on reserved site. When domino effect started with people needing to get on our site, they got busy. We have stayed here in our MH and also rented space, which is pricey. Just can't beat all the amenities for all ages in our opinion. Our boys never leave the campground. This area of Myrtle is not great but my husband and I ventured out for dinner quite a bit too.
